Etsy Fee Calculator
Etsy charges four separate fees, and forgetting any one of them skews your pricing. This calculator adds them all: $0.20 listing fee, 6.5% transaction fee (on item + shipping), 3% + $0.25 payment processing, plus optional offsite ads — then subtracts your costs to show true profit and margin.
What Etsy charges per sale (US, 2026)
The 6.5% transaction fee applies to the item price AND the shipping you charge — free shipping is partly a fee-saving move. Payment processing (3% + $0.25) also applies to the full amount.
Offsite Ads: 12% if your 12-month revenue is under $10k (optional participation), 15% and mandatory above. Enter your applicable rate; leave 0 if you never use it.
A 'regulatory operating fee' (~0.32%) applies in some US states and several countries — add it to costs if it applies to you.
