Overview

CalcRoost (calcroost.com) provides free online calculators. You do not need an account to use any tool, and we do not ask you to sign up, log in, or provide personal information to calculate anything.

This policy explains what data is collected when you visit the site, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to all pages on calcroost.com in every language.

Calculator inputs stay on your device

Every calculator on CalcRoost runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — prices, rates, incomes — are processed by JavaScript on your device and are never transmitted to our servers or stored by us.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, our hosting and infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs for security and abuse prevention. These logs typically include your IP address, browser user agent, referring page, and the time of requests.

We use this data only in aggregate for security, performance monitoring, and understanding overall traffic patterns. We do not use it to build individual profiles.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used and how visitors navigate the site. GA4 sets cookies and similar technologies to distinguish unique users and remember session activity.

You can block analytics cookies with any modern browser or with browser extensions without losing any functionality — every calculator works the same with or without cookies.

Advertising

CalcRoost is free because it is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense, and third-party vendors including Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Managing cookies

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking advertising and analytics cookies will not affect any calculator's functionality.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export it, the right to object to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under the CCPA.

Children

CalcRoost is directed at adults — investors, sellers, freelancers, and professionals — and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our tools cite official sources such as Amazon Seller Central, the IRS, HMRC, and state agencies. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the date shown above. Changes take effect when posted.
